Job summary

GameStop in Savannah, GA is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. You will drive sales, supervise staff, and ensure an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Must be at least 18, with proof of identity, and a high school diploma or equivalent; higher education and video game knowledge are a plus. On-site role with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and greet guests promptly.
• Support the store environment, promotions, and guest relationships.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS accurately.
• Elevate customer issues to the Store Manager as needed.
• Promote GameStop guest benefits and loyalty programs.
• Assist with training and onboarding of store associates.
• Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the Store Manager's absence.
• Manage onboarding and compliance training prior to shifts.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business/marketing/merchandising
