Job summary

GameStop in Rome, GA is hiring for a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager. You will support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations, supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders, and drive guest service and sales through knowledge sharing and efficient store management.

You will help maintain visual standards, execute promotions, manage onboarding and training, and ensure payroll accuracy while delivering excellent guest experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and greet guests, respond to questions, promote guest benefits, and guide guest purchases.
• Support store environment, including visual and operational elements, sales initiatives, and guest relationships to drive sales and loyalty.
• Supervise sales associates and retail keyholders in absence of the Store Manager.
• Ensure onboarding and training for staff, adherence to policies, and proper scheduling and payroll processing.
• Maintain store cleanliness, inventory control, and accurate POS and banking processes.
