Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to assist the general manager with day-to-day store operations, uphold company policies, and drive performance. The role emphasizes guest service, cash handling, inventory management, and adherence to safety standards.

The successful candidate will typically have 1-2 years of supervisory experience, be able to work flexible hours, and possess reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees, holding them accountable for upholding operational standards.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory; assist in investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variations.
• Maintains business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties as requested.
• Manage cash management procedures including bank deposits and change orders.
• Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards and store image standards.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure store is secure and safe; report issues to management.
• Coordinate gasoline deliveries and ensure adequate gasoline levels.
• Engage in all company promotional initiatives and guest services.
