Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to serve as a front-line brand ambassador across Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store stores.

You will supervise daily operations, support sales, and ensure excellent customer service while adhering to regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include handling cash, assisting customers with loan products, training staff, and coordinating with district leadership to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year experience in sales, customer service, and/or cash handling.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
• Commitment to accountability, inclusivity, transparency, and focus.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options that meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager, DDO, or corporate office as needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and process general questions or applications.
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls per regulations and procedures.
• Respond professionally to customers and ensure they feel supported and valued.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle currency and cash, manage a cash drawer, and assist with bank deposits.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Process transactions including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend per policy.
• Complete compliance trainings and adhere to company policies.
