Job summary

Lids Sports Group seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Wyomissing, PA. This part-time role supports the Store Manager in daily store operations, customer service, and sales leadership to deliver exceptional experiences for teams and customers.

The role emphasizes coaching staff, upholding brand standards, and ensuring smooth store performance during peak times and scheduling challenges.

Qualifications

Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Capable of working independently without supervision.

Responsibilities

Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc., when Store Manager is not present.
Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow-up when Store Manager is not present.
Administer the progressive steps of discipline with verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment and aligning work with company objectives.
Adhere to Lids Brand Standards (dress code, etc.) and ensure store policies are followed.
Schedule and staff the store, including coverage for peak periods when the Store Manager is absent.
Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations and procedures.
Ensure inventory control, safety of funds and property, and compliance with company policies.
Other duties as assigned.
