Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Lancaster, PA. You will be responsible for acting as manager on duty, coaching staff, handling scheduling and staffing, and ensuring exceptional customer service that aligns with Lids standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, loss prevention, and creating a positive team environment. You will drive sales strategies, motivate teams, and help maintain store operations, inventory, and visual merchandising while upholding company policies

Responsibilities

Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
Lead store associates through training programs, goal setting, and regular follow-up.
Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings when the Manager is absent.
Create a fun, productive environment and ensure adherence to company standards and policies.
Schedule and staff the store, including call-ins for peak periods.
Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on procedures and store operations.
Ensure compliance with policies, safeguard inventory and company assets.
Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
Resolve customer feedback and escalations, and promote membership programs.
