Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with opening and closing duties, organize merchandise, and help supervise store associates.

You’ll ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, address customer questions, and help implement corporate directives while maintaining promotion displays and inventory accuracy. This is a part-time role based in Mount Washington, KY.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and meet physical demands.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits/receipts, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked store and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep/mop floors, take out trash, and keep areas neat.
• Other duties as assigned.
