Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Utah to help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist with supervision, merchandising, deposits, and daily cash control while supporting profitability and asset protection.

Responsibilities include leading customer service, opening/closing, scheduling, training, planogram execution, inventory control, and enforcing safety and cash-handling policies in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees and training to ensure compliance with policies.
