Dollar General in Ogden, Utah is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operation of a clean, customer-first store. You will help supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, deposits, and overall store profitability under the Store Manager.

The role includes opening/closing the store, training and scheduling employees, maintaining inventory, planograms, and strict cash handling. Strong communication and organization are essential to success.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service leadership; greet and assist customers and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, training, safety meetings and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise: receiving, unpacking, stocking, restocking and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control damages, markdowns and losses.
• Assist with planograms and ensure merchandising meets standards.
• Ensure cash procedures and deposits are handled securely; support refunds/overrides.
• Assist in store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
