Dollar Tree in Taylors, SC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities and help supervise and train store associates.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a high-energy team environment. You will help maintain displays, manage inventory, and ensure the store meets company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Create a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
