Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume store responsibilities in Store Manager's absence.
• Consult with Store Manager in action plans to accomplish store responsibilities.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating store personnel.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to meet department responsibilities and standards.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Maintain extraordinary customer service per manuals; assist customers during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold policies and protect assets; report any fraud risk to management.
