Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in a part-time role in Pahrump, NV. You will help with store operations, assist customers, manage merchandise flow, and support staff development.

The role includes opening/closing duties, adherence to corporate directives, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom. The position requires strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, with prior retail/store management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and document store activities.
• Support promotions by maintaining fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom per company standards.
• Protect cash and other company assets; ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates; uphold a respectful, safe environment.
• Ensure overall cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and waste management.
