Job summary

Dollar Tree in Henderson, NV is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop the team. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandise flow from delivery to floor, and help with payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention while maintaining store standards and a safe, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in store management or supervisory roles is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives and related communications
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Help Store Manager supervise and develop Store Associates
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Keep bathrooms clean, restock, sweep, mop, and take out trash
• Other duties as assigned
