Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and help implement corporate directives while maintaining clean, safe, and well-stocked facilities.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to supervise and train associates, ensure a positive customer experience, and uphold company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as described.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions or concerns in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas in the store.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, stockroom, and sales floor.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Ensure store policies and safety guidelines are followed.
• Support Store Manager with supervision, training, and development of associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
