Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays to ensure effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record-keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling).
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom while meeting company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure staff compliance.
• Assist Store Manager with supervision, training, and development of Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and team members.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
