Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and scheduling.
• Keep stockrooms and sales floor well stocked and neat.
• Protect assets, including cash, and enforce policies.
• Supervise and develop store associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and clean store environment.
