Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities and lead associates to ensure service, efficiency, and a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include merchandise flow, opening/closing procedures, payroll/scheduling support, and adherence to company policies while maintaining a safe, well-organized store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Retail store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Team-oriented with ability to work in a high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize merchandise flow from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities and compliance.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
