Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear in Arcadia, FL is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations and customer service excellence. You will be knowledgeable in each product area and responsible for supervising the staff in the Manager's absence while upholding store policies.

Core duties include assisting in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling, as well as driving profitability and providing outstanding customer service to every guest.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail footwear/apparel is preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to assist in managing a team and meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets and store operations.
• Confer with the Store Manager to set action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Lead in the Store Manager's absence and supervise staff.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Ensure inventory awareness, sales statistics, and profitability targets.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service and promote merchandise.
• Uphold all company policies and internal controls.
