Job summary

Dollar Tree in Strongsville, OH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with merchandising, daily tasks, and leading store associates to deliver a positive shopper experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform repetitive motions as needed.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize, transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Proces corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain storefront displays and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, and record keeping.
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and supervise store associates.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
