Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and endure standing, walking, and repetitive motions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Assist customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and compliance-related communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and store areas to company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged merchandise, and basic records (payroll, scheduling, deposits).
• Protect store assets, including cash; adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and presentable store environment.
