Dollar Tree in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and help organize merchandise from delivery to floor while maintaining seasonal areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior store management experience in a retail or grocery setting is preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping including payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits/receipts, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures including safety guidelines and ensure associates follow them.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and restocking.
• Other duties as assigned.
