O’Reilly Auto Parts in Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the store team in servicing customers and may manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and implement service programs.
• Assist the store manager to ensure staffing during peak hours and coaching of team members.
• Participate in hiring activities, interviews, and candidate evaluation with management.
• Ensure phone coverage and adherence to company policies.
• Oversee buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC orders; contact customers on shipments.
• Ensure efficient handling of returns, exchanges, and invoicing of merchandise.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Perform opening/closing duties and secure money, deposits, and alarms.
• Maintain store building, parking lot, signage, and delivery vehicles.
