Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Mission, TX location.

You will help with opening/closing procedures, merchandise organization, scheduling, and loss prevention while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues. You will also train associates, ensure safety guidelines, and uphold company policies. This is a part-time role emphasizing service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and explain directives.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent standing/walking.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas; transfer from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Record keeping including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates; ensure safety policies are followed.
