The role involves supervising staff, opening/closing duties, and acting in the Store Manager’s absence, with emphasis on profitability and loss prevention. This is a full-time, in-store position.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; operate cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, providing training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Follow processes to manage merchandise: receiving, stocking, restocking, and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy; control damages, markdowns, scans, paperwork, deposits.
• Implement and maintain planograms; ensure compliant merchandise presentation.
• Ensure cashier accountability and cash control procedures; count tills and deposit funds.
• Assist with store operations in Store Manager’s absence.
