Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise flow, and help maintain seasonal areas to company standards.

The role requires strong communication, customer service excellence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will participate in opens/closes, follow directives, and support loss prevention and staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and activities.
• Support customer inquiries and resolve concerns in a positive manner.
• Help organize merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Execute corporate directives and process store communications.
• Maintain storefront fixtures for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and presentable, including restrooms.
