Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Rogers, AR, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and help in opening/closing procedures.

The role requires strong communication, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and prior store management experience. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth and development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience managing a retail or grocery store is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed and ensure seasonal areas are maintained.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling) and loss prevention.
• Maintain areas of the store, including a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
