Job summary

Norman’s Hallmark, Prices Corner, Wilmington, Delaware, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our growing, employee-owned team. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to drive store goals, deliver a caring customer experience, and support operations such as events, shipments, and merchandising.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of retail supervisory and customer service experience, and can work a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or higher.
• Retail supervisory experience: 1 year or more.
• Customer service experience: 1 year or more.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including events, holidays, evenings and weekends.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive retail sales by connecting with customers and building relationships.
• Assist Store Manager with operations including event planning, shipments, merchandising, and promotions.
• Develop and train staff on products and processes.
• Lead with a professional, unbiased style in the store manager's absence.
• Learn and use the POS system to manage inventory and sales.
