Norman’s Gift Shops, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Gateway Shopping Center location in Wayne, PA. You will lead a caring team, support the Store Manager, and help deliver exceptional customer service and sales results.

The ideal candidate will have retail supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage operations, events, shipments, merchandising, and promotions while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, equivalent or higher.
• Retail Supervisory Experience: 1 year or more.
• Customer Service Experience: 1 year or more.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Infuse our Customer CARE program into the store culture and drive retail sales by connecting with customers.
• Prioritize the customer and make them the focus of the business.
• Assist Store Manager in operating store activities including event planning, shipments, merchandising, and promotions.
• Assist in developing and training staff on new products and processes.
• Lead professionally in the store in absence of the manager.
• Learn and use our POS system to ensure inventory, sales, and markdown accuracy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Ability to learn and be efficient with our point-of-sale software system to ensure accuracy with inventory, sales, and markdowns.
