Job summary

Vail Resorts, Inc. in Park City, UT is seeking seasonal Retail/Rental Management staff to deliver premium customer service and support in our stores. You will lead operations, train staff, and ensure guest satisfaction while representing the brand and culture.

Starting wage is $25.00/hr for winter season 2026/2027 with strong benefits including free passes, discounts, and wellness programs. Applications accepted rolling until positions filled.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–3 years of retail supervisor experience; ski industry preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and multitask.
• Flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, monitoring performance and payroll.
• Maintain daily store records for performance and inventory.
• Hire and train employees in POS operation and customer service.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain product knowledge and deliver excellent service.
• Participate with leadership forums on store performance.
• Other duties including merchandising and rentals.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, monitoring performance and budget including scheduling and payroll; act as manager-on-duty in the absence of a Store Manager
• Maintain daily store records for performance, sales metrics, inventory control and equipment rentals (if applicable)
• Hire and train employees in POS system operation, product knowledge, guest service, sales techniques and loss prevention policies and procedures
• Monitor team performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, providing recognition or correction action if necessary
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and provide excellent customer service through timely response to customer questions, suggestions, complaints, and recognition
• Participate with leadership forums providing feedback and input on store performance, training, and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned, including specialty areas like merchandising and rentals

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Business area training or education preferred
• 1-3 years of retail supervisor experience; ski industry preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, multitask and manage multiple customers
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English

The expected pay range is $25.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
