Job summary

URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Department Manager to support service, selling, and business operations in a fast-paced retail environment in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

You will foster community among the team and ensure brand standards are delivered through ongoing education on store initiatives. You will lead the salesfloor, assist in recruiting and onboarding, and collaborate with partners to execute shipments, omni fulfillment, and payroll alignment to drive sales and brand

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail leadership experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Anthro brand familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the salesfloor and drive engagement in each zone through elevated communication; guide the team to prioritize the customer experience and achieve store objectives.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding to retain a diverse and engaged team.
• Support daily operating processes such as opening/closing, restocking, and handling facilities or IT issues.
• Collaborate with partners to execute shipment and omni-fulfillment processes, and support visual standards, stock levels, and markdowns.
• Provide feedback on training needs to optimize scheduling and payroll allocation.
