Job summary

Venchi is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its Boston, MA location to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. The role partners with the Store Manager to develop the team and uphold Venchi’s brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of retail supervisory experience, is fluent in English, passionate about chocolate and gelato, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Experience in running a fast-paced retail sales and customer service environment.
• Passionate about chocolate and gelato; food industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through high customer service standards and business acumen.
• Promote Venchi Service Model and brand standards.
• Support Store Manager to drive KPI’s, goals, and results.
• Coach and develop store team members through training and guidance.
• Assist in planning and follow-ups with the team to achieve objectives.
• Ensure Store Operational Audits are completed successfully.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Our Mission

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team based in Boston, MA! Our Retail channel is very dynamic and growing quickly, and is central to the development of our company, with direct stores in Italy, the UK, and the US, and planned openings nationwide. Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales through a high standard of customer service and business acumen,
• Be a brand champion by promoting the Venchi Service Model,
• Support the store manager to drive stores KPI’S, goals, and results.
• Support all employees in their training, acting as a guide and motivator while continuously teaching and developing.
• Support the manager in leading the team in achieving company objectives.
• Support the Store manager in planning and well-structured follow-ups and coaching sessions with all team members.
• Ensure standards and procedures are met through a successful Store Operational Audit.
• Keep all equipment well-maintained and report any issues.
• Maintain food and safety regulations.

Assistant Store Manager Role Requirements

• Two years of Assistant Store Manager experience
• Experience in running a fast-paced retail sales and customer service environment.
• Working experience in the food industry is preferred.
• Passionate about chocolate and gelato.
• Fluent in English, bilingual is a plus.
• Flexibility in work schedule is required, including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends, that’s when we are at our busiest!
• Ability to work a retail schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays…and obviously a chocolate and gelato lover!
