Binny’s Beverage Depot in Bloomington, IL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the General Manager in daily store operations, guest service, and sales leadership. You will help develop a team-focused environment and guide associates toward achieving store goals.

You will assist with scheduling, training, scheduling, and HR tasks to ensure smooth operations, while upholding health and safety standards and superior customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail store management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Financial and business acumen for forecasting and planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in all areas of the store with leadership and oversight.
• Create welcoming environment for customers and staff, addressing inquiries and needs.
• Identify staff strengths and develop growth plans.
• Drive sales and handle complex transactions with positive interactions.
• Use resources to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Manage HR tasks: performance reviews, documentation, training checklists.
• Assist with forecasting and adapting to business needs to meet sales goals.
• Identify opportunities to drive customer traffic through tastings and events.
• Maintain staffing levels and schedule optimization to maximize productivity.
