Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company, operator of Big O Tires franchises, seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Springdale, AR. You will supervise daily operations, guide staff, ensure customer satisfaction, and support sales and maintenance services.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, inventory, scheduling, and implementing company programs while upholding safety and quality standards. Growth opportunities exist through performance incentives and professional development.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license for moving customer vehicles in and out of the shop area
• Previous experience in retail or automotive sales or service
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages and percentages
• Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
• Ability to work with hazardous materials
• Ability to work outdoors in weather conditions
• Ability to comply with PPE regulations
• English literacy for communication with customers and staff
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Build effective relationships with customers and store staff and motivate employees to deliver positive customer experiences
• Ensure prompt and consistent opening and closing of location based on store hours of operation
• Perform all aspects of store operations including customer service, sales, shop management and office responsibilities
• Promote sales through explaining benefits of service and products to customers
• Perform vehicle inspections and prioritize and promote needed products and services with customers and management
• Meet budgeted sales goals, gross profit percentages, expense control and payroll objectives
• Assist in training and the execution of all company programs, policies, and procedures
• Guide staff in resolving customer concerns
• Assist Store Manager with financial analyses, accounts receivable and cash handling
• Monitor employee productivity and assist in inventory replenishment and reporting
• Attend store meetings and support safety, policy, and product information changes
• Maintain facilities and equipment per company standards
• Complete required training and comply with company policies
