General Summary

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist the Store Manager with daily operations, maintain inventories, ensure store appearance, and complete daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers positively, resolving inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates under the Store Manager's guidance.
• Assist with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items from stockroom to store.
• Support in ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Participate in loss prevention efforts.
• Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and meet demands of store operations.
• Availability for flexible full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills in customer focus, organization, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
