uBreakiFix by Asurion in Louisville, KY is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to act as the second-in-command in store leadership. You will support the Store Manager across operations, repair performance, customer experience, inventory management, and team development, while staying hands-on with the team in all areas.

The role emphasizes front- and back-of-house proficiency, opportunities for advancement to Store Manager and beyond, and a compensation package with hourly pay plus performance

• Own inventory management, cycle counts, accuracy, and shrink prevention.
• Onboard new team members and coach for development.
• Assist with customer escalations within guidelines.
• Flex within the market to maintain store coverage.

Assistant Store Manager

Our Assistant Store Manager role is uBreakiFix's second-in-command store leadership position, built for operators who are ready to own the day-to-day. You'll support the Store Manager across every dimension of the business - store operations, repair performance, customer experience, inventory management, and team development. Unlike most leadership roles, this one requires proficiency in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, so you'll be hands-on with your team in every part of the store.

• Support the Store Manager in daily store operations, including opening and closing, customer flow, repair intake, and front-of-house execution.
• Manage and prioritize the repair queue to ensure timely service, accurate communication, and efficient job completion.
• Maintain proficiency in all required repairs and support the team with troubleshooting, quality standards, and job completion.
• Delegate daily tasks to the repair team and keep work moving throughout the day.
• Own inventory management, including parts organization, cycle counts, accuracy, and shrink prevention.
• Onboard new team members and develop your team through hands-on coaching and direct feedback.
• Assist with customer escalations and service exceptions within company guidelines.
• Flex within the market as needed to maintain store coverage.

To be successful at uBreakiFix, you'll bring

• 1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience in a retail or service environment.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Repair proficiency across mobile device types or demonstrated ability and genuine drive to achieve it.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Required for this role.
• Strong ability to delegate, manage workflow, and prioritize under pressure.
• Comfort leading a team day-to-day while staying hands-on with repairs and operations.
• Natural ability to develop others with patience, clear communication, and follow-through.
• High school diploma or GED. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A passing background check (criminal and drug test)
