Position Overview

As a Family Dollar Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting the Store Manager in daily operations, maintaining inventories, ensuring store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Greets and assists customers, resolving inquiries and concerns.
• Maintains a clean, well-stocked store and provides excellent service.
• Supervises, trains, and develops Store Associates.
• Assists with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring merchandise.
• Supports ordering, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Supports loss prevention efforts.
• Assumes management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs.
• Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills include customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
