Position Summary: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist in managing daily store operations, providing excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and supporting store appearance. You will also help supervise staff, handle merchandise, and contribute to loss prevention efforts.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers positively; resolve inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store environment.
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates on operational practices.
• Assist with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items from the stockroom.
• Support in ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Participate in loss prevention initiatives.
• Assume management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs; capable of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive movements.
• Flexible full-time availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
