The Assistant Store Manager will enhance the customer's in-store experience by being a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. They will execute Mattress Firm selling programs and support a seamless omni-channel experience to create a compelling and engaging environment focused on the customer. They will also serve as a lead in resolving customer-related issues and escalate when necessary. Additionally, the Assistant Store Manager assists the Senior Store Manager in driving company initiatives and achieving sales performance goals by coaching associates on selling practices and ensuring proper in-store merchandising across multiple store units.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support development of team members by providing technical and product knowledge, serving as a subject matter expert.
• Assist the Senior Store Manager with training store associates.
• Promote a culture of coaching to improve customer experience and selling skills.
• Achieve or exceed store financial targets through effective customer service and sales strategies.
• Ensure proper execution of product merchandising, marketing, and POP standards.
• Follow procedures for product transfers and inventory documentation.
