$13.50 to $18.50 per hour

Position Summary

Seeking an Assistant Store Manager with at least 6 months of management experience. Responsible for daily store operations, team development, recruiting, financial goals, and customer satisfaction. Sets a customer-centric tone and partners with the Store Manager to analyze financials, promote the business, and acquire new customers. The role involves working with various merchandise, including jewelry, electronics, tools, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

This position offers an hourly wage plus commission and bonuses based on performance, with actual pay depending on location, experience, and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Foster a friendly, professional, customer-focused environment.
• Train and develop staff, including Pawnbrokers.
• Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, manage cash and merchandise, and secure assets.
• Control inventory, manage loans, and ensure store presentation.
• Analyze financial statements and drive profitability.
• Maintain operational standards and monitor loan processes.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Effective supervisory skills.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
• Minimum age of 18, high school diploma or GED.
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with POS systems and office equipment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and cash handling skills.
• Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic.
