Job summary

TPH Holdings LLC (XL Parts/The Parts House) is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our Cypress, TX location. The role focuses on shipping, customer service, inventory, and ensuring a safe, efficient store environment.

You will coordinate deliveries, handle cash and deposits, and supervise staff to meet a 45-minute delivery window while maintaining high service standards. Prior retail experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED.
• 1 to 2 years of retail experience.
• Motivated to provide superb customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass a criminal background and drug screen.

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for expediting shipments of parts sent and returned from or to XL Parts/The Parts House distribution center(s).

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Shipping and receiving of merchandise
• Assemble and fill customer orders to be delivered within a 45minute window
• Inventory and cycle counts
• Schedules contract drivers based on company business needs
• Answers customer questions and addresses complaints
• Store opening and closing duties
• Handles cash, cash counts, and deposits
• Stocks and pulls parts
• Answers phones
• Keeps store and front counter clean
• Keeps warehouse clean and provides a safe work environment

Requirements:

• High School Degree or GED
• 1 to 2 years ofworking in a retail environment

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements :

Typical 9-hour day to include reaching, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting and carrying. To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.
