Job summary

XL Parts and The Parts House is seeking an Assistant Store Supervisor in Georgia to oversee shipment expeditions and order fulfillment. The role requires coordinating shipping/receiving, inventory checks, and driver scheduling while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of retail experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with safety and accuracy as priorities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of retail experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must pass background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• expedites shipments of parts to and from XL Parts/The Parts House distribution centers.
• Assemble and fill customer orders for 45‑minute delivery windows.
• Handle shipping, receiving, inventory, and cycle counts.
• Schedule contract drivers based on needs.
• Answer customer questions and address complaints.
• Open and close the store and manage front counter tasks.
• Manage cash, cash counts, and deposits.
• Stock and pull parts; keep warehouse and store clean and safe.

Job description

The Assistant Store Supervisor is responsible for expediting shipments of parts sent and returned from or to XL Parts/The Parts House distribution center(s).

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Shipping and receiving of merchandise
• Assemble and fill customer orders to be delivered within a 45minute window
• Inventory and cycle counts
• Schedules contract drivers based on company business needs
• Answers customer questions and addresses complaints
• Store opening and closing duties
• Handles cash, cash counts, and deposits
• Stocks and pulls parts
• Answers phones
• Keeps store and front counter clean
• Keeps warehouse clean and provides a safe work environment

Requirements:

• High School Degree or GED
• 1 to 2 years ofworking in a retail environment
• Highly motivated to provide superb customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements :

Typical 9-hour day to include reaching, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting and carrying. To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.
