Summary

The Assistant Store Manager supports store operations, sales performance, and team development for a luxury jewelry boutique. This role helps deliver an exceptional client experience while maintaining operational standards and achieving store targets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee merchandise flows, inventory reconciliation, purchase requests, purchase orders, and end-of-day procedures.
• Support achievement of sales and KPI targets, build client relationships, and model excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with store policies, procedures, security standards, and operational requirements.
• Train and develop sales associates, conduct store meetings and audits, and manage schedules, payroll approvals, time-off requests, and commission submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of retail supervisory experience; luxury experience is a plus.
• Experience in retail operations, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; foreign language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays, and meet the physical requirements of the role.
