Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient understanding of Subway policies and procedures.
• Leadership skills to direct trainees and evaluate comprehension.
• Initiative, motivation, creativity and ability to understand many areas of Store Operations.
• Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to produce and deliver quality training.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill the Sandwich Artist job description.
• Monitor productivity and adjust employee hours as needed.
• Inventory and paperwork as needed.
• Complete coupon log, spot checks and post close reconciliation during shifts worked.
• Food Ordering as needed.
• Track food rotation in cooler, freezer and dry goods.
• Open and close the store.
• Bake bread according to Subway standards.
• Work with the Store Manager on covering shifts.
• Maintain Subway and Health Department operational and cleanliness standards.
• Attend new promotional window calls as requested.
• Conduct on-the-job training for new employees.
• Monitor trainees to measure progress, update training log and training requirements.
• Assist employees with problems concerning how to perform specific tasks related to their position.
• Develop positive working relationship with employees they are training to help adapt them to the store's culture.
