Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team in Northlake, IL. You will work alongside the Store Leader to deliver exceptional customer service, coach staff, and drive store performance.

The role emphasizes developing leaders, implementing merchandising and marketing programs, and promoting the loyalty program while handling cash, fuel transactions, and store operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Minimum one year of retail management experience.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Strong customer service leadership and coaching abilities.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.
Valid driver’s license and automotive liability insurance.

Responsibilities

Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees.
Demonstrate retention-focused leadership by identifying and developing leaders and boosting productivity.
Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
Promote the loyalty program and manage cash handling and fuel transactions.
Maintain a clean, safe store environment with in-stock products and sanitation compliance.
Communicate clearly and effectively; leverage MS Word/Excel as needed.
