Job summary

Wolverine Worldwide is seeking an Assistant Manager to keep the store running smoothly and deliver memorable customer experiences. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, manage stock, and ensure brand standards are upheld on the floor and backroom operations.

The role requires a passion for our brands, a strong customer-service mindset, and ability to lead a fast-paced team while maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a role model - motivate and engage your team to bring to life brand values daily.
• Deliver outstanding service to all customers, demonstrating role model behaviours.
• Assist in driving sales, commerciality and maintaining standards, including policies and procedures.
• Communicate efficiently on the floor and behind the scenes; build relationships across the business.
• Partner with Store Manager to generate innovative marketing ideas.
• Own stock management and execute visual merchandising guidelines to meet store KPIs.
• Educate your team and advise customers as product expert and trainer.
• Foster a supportive, productive, inclusive environment promoting teamwork.
• Support store management in opening/closing, cash-handling, stock control, merchandising.
