Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and maintain financial records (payroll, scheduling, deposits).
• Maintain store displays and merchandising effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Ensure safety guidelines and policies are followed.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Ensure cleanliness of bathrooms and floors; take out trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
