Job summary

ShopRite of Riverside in Belcamp, MD is seeking an Assistant Store Director to support the Lead ASD in directing daily operations across perishable and non-perishable departments. This role acts as Manager on Duty, driving sales, profit, and customer experience while ensuring adherence to safety and company policies.

The candidate will supervise store functions, coach associates, and implement best practices to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to make decisions to improve business results based on data available.
• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally lift 60 lbs.

Responsibilities
