Hyatt Grand Hyatt San Diego is seeking an hands-on Assistant Stewarding Manager to support daily Stewarding operations across kitchens, restaurants, banquets and F&B outlets. You will supervise stewarding staff, coordinate staffing, and ensure cleanliness, safety and efficiency in back-of-house areas.

The role requires leadership within culinary or hotel ops, experience in high-volume settings, and strong verbal communication.

Qualifikationen

Leadership Experience within Culinary or Hotel Operations is required.
Experience in a high-volume hotel, resort, restaurant, banquet, or convention operation is preferred.
Knowledge of dishwashing systems, kitchen sanitation, cleaning procedures, and back-of-house operations.
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule.

Aufgaben

Assist daily management of the Stewarding Department across kitchens, restaurants, banquet and F&B support areas.
Supervise, coach, and support stewarding staff to ensure efficient execution of duties.
Plan staffing, assignments, breaks, and priorities based on business needs.
Maintain sanitary environments and ensure equipment, utensils, and back-of-house spaces are orderly.
