Job summary

Qualifications

• Leadership experience within culinary or hotel operations.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily management of the Stewarding Department across kitchen, restaurant, banquet, and F&B support areas.
• Supervise and coach stewarding associates for consistent execution of duties.
• Plan staffing, assignments, breaks, and priorities based on business levels.
• Maintain sanitary environments throughout kitchens and back-of-house areas.
• Monitor dish machines, cleaning equipment, utensils, and kitchen gear.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and Hyatt standards.
• Assist with scheduling, payroll administration, purchasing, and inventory controls.
• Train new associates and uphold sanitation and safety practices.
• Support events and large banquets during high-volume periods.
