Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc. in the United States is seeking reliable team members to support station operations and customer service.

You will assist the Station Manager in daily tasks, oversee staff during the Manager’s absence, and coach team members to uphold CSI safety and service standards. Applicants should have strong English skills, prior cash handling and customer service experience, and the ability to work varied hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand policies, safety training, and interact with customers.
• Experience in fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environment with cash handling and customer service.
• Experience operating cash registers and related equipment; familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety for food storage/serving.
• Willingness to work varied hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Minimum age requirements: 18+ in some locations; 21+ for certain states/positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Station Manager with day-to-day store operations.
• Oversee station operations and staff during the Manager’s absence.
• Provide direction, motivation and coaching to staff during shifts.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality guidelines and CSI policies.
• Ensure wage and hour guidelines are followed and cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain courteous contact with customers, coworkers and vendors.
• Operate and train others on cash registers and POS systems.
• Perform CSR duties as needed.
